Metals and purity

• S925 or 925 sterling silver means a silver alloy represented as 92.5% silver when that purity is verified for the selected item.
• Plated brass or plated stainless steel describes a base metal with a surface finish; plating does not make the base metal solid gold or sterling silver.
• Gold tone or silver tone describes appearance unless a specific metal or plating composition is also stated.
• Hallmarks, assay documents, and composition reports are confirmed only when bound to the selected product or batch.

Diamonds and gemstone alternatives

• Laboratory-grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment, commonly by CVD or HPHT; they are disclosed as laboratory-grown and are not represented as mined diamonds.
• Moissanite, cubic zirconia, high-carbon diamond terminology, crystal, and glass are different materials and are not described as diamond.
• Laboratory-grown ruby, sapphire, emerald, and other created gemstones are identified as laboratory-grown or synthetic when supported by the product record.
• Natural gemstones may vary in color, pattern, inclusion, and appearance from piece to piece.

Finish and treatment

Rhodium plating, gold-tone plating, polishing, oxidation, enameling, and stone-setting methods affect appearance and care. A finish is listed separately from the underlying metal whenever the source information allows.

Stone and post-growth treatments are disclosed when reliable product-specific information is available. If treatment status matters, request written confirmation for the selected variant.

Certificates and reports

A laboratory report describes the item examined by that laboratory; it is not a warranty, appraisal, or blanket certification for every item in a product family. Match the report number and product details before relying on it.
